WHAT IS THE LET'S GET INTO GOOD TROUBLE CONFERENCE?

The Let's Get into Good Trouble (LGGT) Youth Leadership Conference is an annual event developed and facilitated by Community Youth Advance youth leaders. It's a clarion call for youth to take action and be the change they desire to see in the world. This conference is inspired by the late Senator John Lewis who encouraged us all to make "good trouble" by speaking up and speaking out to help our communities become more equitable, safe, and just for all mankind. Each year, this conference is held around Juneteenth (June 19th) to commemorate the history of injustice and our continued fight for social justice.
